Out There Academy is a transformational alternative education programme, designed to help struggling young people get back on track in school, at home, and in the community. The programme aims to boost the participant's school attendance, emotional health, self-confidence, self-awareness and respect for both themselves and the world around them.

Who can use this service?
Out There Academy is a free programme and is available to young people between 11-15 living in Essex who struggle with behaviour, relationships, mood and schooling.
How are services delivered?
With outdoor alternative education 1 day a week for 6 weeks, the outdoor workshop is designed to encourage and engage young people through hands-on activities that challenge their minds, improve mental well-being and their social skills, and support their emotional needs.
