- make your mouse easier to use
- use your keyboard instead of a mouse
- talk to your device
- make your device talk to you
- make text larger

How accessible this website is
We aim for our websites to conform to WCAG 2.2 AA wherever reasonably possible.
WCAG is widely recognised as the foundation for accessibility requirements under frameworks such as the Equality Act 2010 (UK), ADA (US), AODA (Canada), EN 301 549 (EU), RGAA (France), and similar regulations worldwide.
WCAG 2.2 was published in October 2023. It builds on WCAG 2.1 by retaining all existing success criteria and introducing nine additional criteria. Several of these new criteria are at Level A and Level AA, which are increasingly being adopted as best practice and reflected in emerging regulatory expectations.
The new Level A and AA success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2 include:
- 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) (AA)
- 2.5.7 Dragging Movements (AA)
- 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum) (AA)
- 3.2.6 Consistent Help (A)
- 3.3.7 Redundant Entry (A)
- 3.3.8 Accessible Authentication (AA)
Use of accessibility tools
We have introduced the UserWay accessibility widget across our websites to support accessibility improvements and to help users customise their browsing experience.
UserWay’s automated tools assist in identifying certain accessibility issues and applying automated adjustments where possible. Automated tools cannot identify or resolve all accessibility barriers, and we do not rely on automation alone to meet accessibility requirements.
We are concurrently reviewing and improving our website code and content manually to address accessibility issues at source wherever possible.
For additional information about this, please visit www.userway.org
We are, in addition, working through the code of the website to ensure that wherever possible we continue to improve accessibility without the use of a widget.
Compliance status
Based on a combination of automated testing and manual review, we believe our websites are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.
While automated testing tools indicate a high level of technical compliance, we recognise that some aspects of accessibility can only be fully assessed through ongoing manual testing and user feedback.
What we're doing to improve accessibility
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We:
- Regularly monitor our websites using a combination of automated tools and manual testing
- Maintain and follow an internal content and style guide designed to support accessible, plain-English content
- Continue to review and improve website code to reduce reliance on third-party widgets
- Consider accessibility at the point of content creation wherever possible
