University of Essex: Essex Law Clinic

Essex Law Clinic at Essex University benefits the Essex community by offering free initial advice about legal problems. Advice is available in areas such as family law, homelessness, immigration, employment, equality, consumer law and welfare benfits law. We do not cover crime, tax and debt. We are not a solicitors firm, nor a substitute for legal advice. But we aim to provide the same high standard of service expected in the practice of law. Services are provided by law students who receive training and are supervised by staff.

Operates in university term time only, from October to the end of March.
