Parents' Aid

We at Parents Aid aim to help families stay together and achieve independence from state intervention by providing a wide range of services that assist and support parents who need help to overcome difficulties. Specifially for families with children under 18 and at risk of social exclusion offering: Advocacy & Information service - court attendance support/ advocacy at Initial case conferences, reviews & related meetings; one-to-one Counselling; Family Mediation service for parent/parent or parent/child or parent/teenager; Parenting Skills training, Anger Management and Careers Orientation available.

All our services are currently delivered remotely but face to face delivery may be possible should clients so request.  Unfortunately, we do not have any qualified staff to be able to offer support to SEND children.

Who can use this service?

Families with Children under 18 who are at risk of social exclusion. Unfortunately, we do not have any qualified staff to be able to offer support to SEND children. Priority is given to Essex residents.

When raising a referral/self referral please provide an email address to enable us to make contact.

How are services delivered?

Online and face to face appointments by prior arrangement.
