NHS Employment Support

NHS Employment Support can offer help for those in work (employment retention) and those out of work (IPS employment). These services are suitable for anyone who needs support in the workplace with their mental and/or physical health and also for those seeking employment but are facing mental and/or physical health barriers.

Employment Retention: By making a referral to the Employment Support in Primary Care Job Retention Service, we can provide support to overcome mental or physical health illness causing you or someone you know to be absent from work or to be struggling at work. This support includes: Discussing your needs and putting together a support plan ; Considering reasonable adjustments; Supporting you and your employer with signposting & Help with putting together a Wellness Action Plan with you and your employer.

IPS Employment: We are specialists in supporting people who have experienced mental and physical illness to find employment at a pace that works for them. Support includes: Working with you to identify, secure and retain paid employment using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model; Helping you to decide what type of work accommodates your interests, skills & experiences and your individual support needs; Putting together an action plan.

Residents of Essex who need support with physical and/or mental health needs either for those in work (Employment Rentention Service) or out of work (IPS Employment Service)

Via phone/video and out in the community.
