Open Road - Tendring / Colchester

Open Road is a charity that provides free support for individuals aged 25 years plus, affected by drugs and alcohol. Open Road is an established Drug and Alcohol Recovery support charity and provides services to support individuals on their journey to recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction. As well as this, Open Road offers helps to individuals in the Criminal Justice sector and with employability.

For those receiving support from Open Road, the IPS Individual Placement Support service is open to all service users. Please note you must be a service user to access the IPS support. Find out more HERE.

You can get help from Open Road at our centres, on the streets and at festivals, within the criminal justice system and working with businesses. You can reach out to us in person, over the phone, online via our website and social media .

Who can use this service?

Open Road is a registered charity that provides support free of charge to individuals 25 years of age and over, and family members affected by drugs, drugs and alcohol and other addictions. Referrals can be made for our partnership organisation - Essex Young People's Drugs and Alcohol Service provides services for under 25s. Search on Frontline.

How are services delivered?

Face to face in outreach centres in Clacton and Colchester.
