Community Library and Cafe
We are a Community Library and Cafe where people can come to enjoy a cuppa and slice of homemade cake and a chat. This is free but donations are very welcome. We have 2000 books in the Library for you to choose from. It is also free to join and you can borrow up to 4 books, both adult and children's. We have jigsaws for sale and often have craft tables. We also occasionally have visits from Colchester City Council, Anglian Water, EFR service and Police to answer any questions.
You can borrow up to 4 books for the month but these can be renewed if you haven't finished reading them. We are a `warm space' during the winter months where we also have soup and sausage rolls as well as our delicious homemade cakes. It's a lovely occasion to just come and have chat for the morning.
