C3 Impact
C3 Impact provides community outreach and well-being support from the C3 Church in Colchester. We deliver several projects and programmes to support people in the local community. Our main aim is to see people experience health and wholeness by helping to meet their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. Our projects include: A Wellbeing Hub; Community Market; Food vouchers; Hot Food and courses including Cooking on a Budget.
- Wellbeing Hub - Free refreshments, community, conversations, advice/support and ad-hoc workshops. Wednesdays 10:30am-1pm
- Community Market - Supporting individuals in some form of financial crisis, who are struggling to afford the basic essentials of food, toiletries etc. We are normally able to provide a mixture of fresh fruit and veg, frozen/chilled foods and store cupboard essentials. We ask for £4 for up to 10kg of shopping (approx 2 carrier bags full) or £8 for up to 20kg of shopping (approx 4 carrier bags full). No referral is needed, just turn up and we will carry out a brief informal review of your situation before registering you for the market. Every Wednesday 10:30am - 12noon.
- Food vouchers - Vouchers can be written by the Community Pastors at our WellbeingHub for Emergency 3 day food support supplied by Trussell Trust Foodbanks.
- Courses - We run a number of different courses throughout the year focusing on different areas within individuals lives. Some are run in person and others online.
