North Essex Support Team (NEST)

We provide a range of support for struggling families and individuals in our community - free of charge. This includes: Providing essential furniture and household items, such as beds, bedding and kitchenware; Assistance with adaptations in the home to facilitate the return from hospital of very sick patients and those in receipt of palliative care; and our slow cooker club supplies slow cookers, basic kitchenware and ingredients for 6 hearty meals. If you need help, speak to one of our community partners for a referral.  Our partners include Tendring Council, Colchester City Council, Peabody, HomeStart, Citizens Advice, local foodbanks and GP surgeries.
