NELFT: North East Essex Diabetes Service (NEEDS)
The award-winning NEEDS Diabetes Team provides personalised care for adults with type 1, type 2, or MODY diabetes. Our expert multidisciplinary team includes diabetes specialist nurses, dietitians, and consultants. We offer flexible support in clinics, community settings, and virtually. Self-refer via our website for education and information sessions. All other services require a GP referral. We also help connect people with local peer support groups and patient engagement initiatives to support long-term self-management.
