The Active Wellbeing programme is a referral scheme run by Leisure World Colchester in partnership with local health professionals.It aims to support individuals with medical or long-term conditions by providing valuable guidance and tailored activity programme focused on improving health and wellbeing. This helps individuals lead healthier lives through a variety of physical activities. Our specialist instructors will assess your needs and prescribe a suitable, enjoyable activity plan. There is a subsidised cost for this service.

How are services delivered?
There is a cost for this service :We offer a subsidised 12 week programme called 'Active Wellbeing Programme' - which only accepts professional referrals Referrals are coming generally formsocial prescribers, GPs. Subsidised price includes initial £17.50 for 2 x 1 hour consultation, then either £5 a session, or £75 for 3 month membership with all included...
Patient's medical conditions must be stable and complaint with taking their medication.
There is a cost for this service
First appointment: initial health assessment and personalised plan in person.
Second appointment: Bespoke exercise programme in person.
Regular health assessment in physical and social wellbeing.
