Cancer can affect work, income, travel, household costs and everyday living. We help people affected by cancer to access advice, information and other support linked to benefits and financial wellbeing. We can: Advise on benefits you may be entitled to; Complete a benefits check; Support with "better off" calculations if your circumstances may be changing; Check your eligibility for disability-related benefits, Blue Badge applications and help with health and travel costs.

The Macmillan, Money & More East of England service is a partnership between Hertfordshire County Council and Macmillan Cancer Support. Hertfordshire County Council's Money Advice Unit is leading this programme of support and has over 30 years’ experience of running targeted projects to maximise income and provide money advice. We have been working with Macmillan throughout the last decade, ensuring people affected by cancer are supported with their finances. The online referral route is the quickest way to get started.

Any adult (18 years plus) affected by cancer.
